Download Speeds not even close?
I have the 600mbps plan, when I use the Xfinity app and run tests it says my internet is at 111%!!!! Then I run an internet speed test and get a download speed of, if I'm lucky, slightly above 550mbps. That's not 111%... So then I go try downloading games one at a time on different launchers. I'm lucky if I get 5MB/s for over 5 seconds before it goes to zero for a second or two. It will go up, the picture I am attaching shows it peaked at 45.2 MB/s (which lasted not even 2 seconds). It's over 20 minutes I've barely made any progress and it never went even close to 45.2 MB/s again, let alone above 10MB/s. The picture I am showing is downloading through steam, but it was like this on all launchers/clients I tried. So like... what is this? Is Xfinity lying to me? Am I being scammed? Why is my download speed just not even close to what it's supposed to be? And without even thinking about why it's not fast, why does it go to zero half of the time? Is this something I can bring up to Xfinity and get fixed or should I look into other services?
And I do use wired connection to my modem.

@systemrename, Hi! Thanks for letting us know about your speed issue. We definitely want to help and try to get to everybody as fast as we can. There is currently an area issue and it is best to wait until it is over before we troubleshoot. We will follow up when ready and if you can add your name and address to the direct message that would be great. I can say I have helped other with a similar issue and it turned out to be Steam servers or that clearing download cache is needed. Either way, we want to make sure of everything. Hey @systemrename! We certainly appreciate your patience. It looks like the work in your area has been cleared up. Based on the screenshot you posted it looks like what steam is doing is downloading the update in section and applying them as they go along instead of downloading the full patch and then trying to apply it. I also see this when I'm updating some games as well. Can you please try to run a speed test from Speed test and let us know what you're seeing for speed there? Also, keep in mind MB/s is a different measurement than Mbps. You can see the conversion here: Mbps to MB/s
