DNS issue since last night....

I use Vettix.org a bunch and had zero problems until last night. Whenever I go there I get redirected to a different site. It sends me to https://www.fngtickets.com/ which is the wrong site. I have tried resetting network settings, cleared cash, ran multiple malware programs with nothing being found. This happens on all computers and my phone while on wifi or ethernet. Incognito sends me to the wrong site as well. If I shut off wifi on my phone I get to the correct site with no issues. Anyone have a clue how to fix this?

Hi there and welcome to Comcast. Have you tried to release and renew your IP addres?

I'm getting a "No operation can be performed on Ethernet 2 while it has its media disconnected" message...so I'm not sure what to do with that one.

Now it is only happening when you are connected to your home network, correct?

Yes. Correct. When connected to my wifi (router). It does it on my mobile, my laptops, my desktop etc. If I take my mobile off the wifi then it works fine.

Thank you, @Maliki2 Have you tried using a private/incognito window? You can try disabling browser extensions / add‑ons. You can contact VetTix support, and let them know what’s happening — share that you’re being redirected to FNGTickets instead of VetTix. Use their internal support (from the VetTix site) if possible. VetTix’s support page warns not to go to “3rd party sites” for help.-Richard

I did private/incognito already and still get sent there. I contacted VetTix. They saw that I logged in on my mobile (non wifi) and said I was all set. But I'm not. This just started happening last night so I'm not sure what is up.

Do you by chance have the Xfinity Xfi advanced security option turned on in the Xfinity app?

@Maliki2

Try using a VPN as a temporary workaround and see if you can reach it. Good luck !

@Maliki2

So, did you have a chance to try a VPN ?

@EG I have not. I just have to be careful because I use form programs that will flag me if using a VPN. All I know is the site works at my place of work with a VPN or without. My phone (Xfinity) works fine off the wifi. The PC and LAPTOP and MOBILE at home on Xfinity, is still rerouting to the wrong site. This just started happening.

Actually I just tried it at home and it seems to be working again! Thanks for the help!
