Disable public hotspot on gateway provided by my employer

Hello,   my wife works from homa and she has her interenet provided by her company.  Is there any way to have the public wifi hotspot turned off?  I have 3 access points in the house already so my network is getting congested.  It seems that only the public hotspot is broadcasting.  I can't log into the gateway with the usual 10.0.0.1 as it looks like it might be in bridge mode because it assigns the PC an IP address in the 67.xx.xx.xx subnet.
