Data Usage

Just got a notice that we are close to exceeding out data for the month and its quite early in the month.  Is there a way for me to see daily usage so that I can determine what behaviors to change so that we dont exceed our allotment?

There is no daily usage or other detailed report available. The best you can do is monitor the status daily to see how it changes.

You can also see the usage report a bit easier through the Xfinity app on a phone or tablet.

Oh really? is there any more of a breakdown than just by month?  That doesnt seem too helpful for me to attempt to figure out what was going on to use that much data in just 10 days...

user_jfta7e It looks like @Andyross gave you a great link. It would be one of the ways to track your data. Are you using an Xfinity modem that you rent? If so you may be able to see what apps on certain devices are using data. I found in my home that my kids were falling asleep with their TVs streaming or their Alexa's playing music all night. Once I created profiles for them and moved their devices to those profiles and set up a bedtime routine the internet would just shut off for those devices. You can learn more about that by clicking here.

... Is there a way for me to see daily usage ...

In the distant past employee "ComcastTeds" (now "@CCTeds") was able to provide daily data usage numbers upon request, but since his departure from the Forums several years ago, no other employees have taken on the task. @Andyross's suggestion above is the best we can do until such time, if any, that they make that daily data available to us.
