Data Usage Is Way Higher Than Normal And Has Overages

Xfinity app notified me that in the last 7 days I have already went over my data limit by almost 200GB. How is this possible when my usage habits have not changed and and all of the last 5 months since having Xfinity internet I have never exceeded 700GB of data in one month?

where are the tools that measure my usage? I would like to see them, not just the graph the the Xfinity Assistant keeps showing me. I don't want to be overcharged for a miscalculation of my data usage! There is no way I have used that much data in 7 DAYS!!!!

Please help resolve this discrepancy!

I've been dealing with this myself.  Xfinity said I used 6TB in December when all previous months were under 200 GB.   They wanted me to go on an unlimited plan and spend way more money.  Good luck with a response though.  I'm betting you won't get one.  I talked to the CSR's for over 2 hours, escalated my call and then they don't call back when they say expect a call back within 24 hours.  

Frustrating to say the least.

If you are disputing your data usage, you would need to reach out to our Customer Security Assurance Team (CSA) and they would have more specific details on the usage on your account.
