Customer Service Complaint | Multiple Promises by Agents and Nothing Handled
I've had three chat conversations with Xfinity agents, each promising to lower my bill and provide a loyalty credit. However, none of these promises have been fulfilled. I've spent nearly 1.5 hours in chat trying to resolve this issue, but to no avail. While I understand that some processes take time, it's been a month, which is ridiculous. This morning, a supervisor informed me that the agent was not authorized to offer those benefits and that nothing could be done. I pointed out that this is not reliable customer service. As customers, we waste our time and just want what was promised. I kept a record of the chat conversations, but the supervisor said that the plan is no longer offered and they would talk to the agent to improve their customer handling skills. I'm unsure what to make of that. I've been with this company for a long time, but clearly, loyalty isn't part of their customer service principles. It's disappointing to see how their customer service has degraded over the years. Many customers are willing to pay more for good service, but Xfinity seems to disregard this. I probably won't recommend their service to friends or family, as I don't want them to experience poor customer service. The cost for internet alone is now over $100, which is too much in my opinion. With fiber options available, maybe it's time to switch. Overall, I'm disappointed, especially with the customer service team's lack of effort to resolve the issue or even consider a compromise.

This is unfortunately very true. The amount of money that is charged to its customers tononly have below sub standard customer service is ridiculous and insulting. Spending hours chatting to only be told a supervisor will handle it , and the , NOTHING!! What will change this is when the general public stops accepting this type of service. We as consumers allow it. Time to stop

Look at my post right before yours.. subject Lies or what. Sounds very similar. Idk how this is ok or legal to promise things and not deliver on the promises
