Correctable codewords 50% of codewords on 2 channels?
Hello, a new cable was installed from the cable terminal / pylon on the street to my house recently and was disconnected and reconnected when Xfinity/Comcast buried the cable today. The Internet service is working, but I noticed on my CGM4140COM XB6 gateway stats that Correctable Codewords for indexes 1 and 33 are consistently about 50% of all Codewords on those channels/indexes. This percentage remains about the same over time as the Unerrored Codewords and Correctable Codewords increment on those indexes. The Uncorrectable Codewords on 1 and 33 are both 0. All other indexes/channels 2-32 have 0 Correctable Codewords and 0 Uncorrectable Codewords. While the Codeword errors are all correctable, the high percentage of correctable codewords seems undesirable and indicative of some interference. Is this persistently high level of correctable codewords considered to be a problem by Comcast/Xfinity? What can be done to reduce or eliminate these errors? @ComcastTambrey @ComcastJoeTru

Hello @Mamma227, Intermittent issues can be a bit tricky to pin down, as the source cause can be different with each account. It could be interior wiring, the connection to the street, the devices within the household itself, so on. We have an Internet Connectivity Troubleshooting Support page that provides more details as well. If after following this information you're still encountering issues, please open a new thread in the appropriate forum detailing the account concerns to the best of your ability so myself or my colleagues can best assist.

Same ask you, first and last channels with high correctable errors.
I have checked the wiring end to end but haven’t found anything.

It happens on Channel 1 and Channel 32. Thoughts anyone?
I can't get over 600 Mbit on a 1000Mbit Plan even when directed to the modem.

I am seeing the same thing. About 40% correctable codeword errors on channels 1 and 32. And the numbers for the two channels are identical, which is strange. I am usually only able to get 450-500 mbps vs the 1 gbps I am paying for. There was a period of a day when I was able to get over 900, so I know my equipment is capable.
