Consistent outages - not good enough

What is happening?

I have had many years of great service by Xfinity but in the last 2 weeks I have had so many outages.

- it started with a local area outage (possibly due to weather)

- since then, I have had over 10 router restarts and lost connections

- followed by another local area outage today

Really frustrating and not good enough.

I work remotely so unless this gets resolved will need to switch provider to a more reliable service

user_42xs2w I can understand how frustrating it can be when things are not working properly, especially when you rely on them if you work remotely or just for home needs. Since your comment was from a few days ago, have you noticed any further interruptions or reported events from the Xfinity app or website?

Yes

interruptions pretty much every day.

so embarrassing for me to have these issues every day, working remotely, to have such unreliable service.

2 or 3 of the outages were for the whole local area and lasted hours

but since the first one of those, I also experience outages several times per day/week - and Xfinity app/support goes offline and can't tell me whether it's my router or an issue affecting many

I try all of the restart, tighten wires, etc steps, and it does not resolve at the time, and keeps reoccurring.

for years everything was so smooth and great performance so disappointing to now have this

@user_ywwuy5 thank you for using the Xfinity Community Forums page to reach out today. I understand that you have had some concerns with your service being disrupted recently. We know how important working service is and would like to get a better understanding of what is going on. When you check the status center is there a listed estimated time of service restoration? You can check here: https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/check-service-outage

And another outage. Every day.

well, at least AT&T are putting some fibre in the area soon. Maybe I'll actually be able to go 24 hours without an outage.
