Connectivity and Speed Concerns

Same issue with us.  Upgraded from 600 to 1100mpbs and got 200Mbps at best.  Service tech replaced splitter and charged us $100.  We now get 300Mbps at best.  8 year old router had better range than this brand new router.  Our network printer continually drops and we have to unplug and plug in the router to fix it.  We upgraded when Xfinity was advertising 1100mbps in TV/radio commercials.  They no longer mention actual speeds in the commercials any longer.

Hello, @user_uco1pq! Thank you for leaving a comment with your concerns on this user's post. I'm sorry to hear about the trouble you've had with intermittent connectivity and slower-than-expected speeds. You've come to a great place for support, though :) Our team is amazing to work with, and it will be our pleasure to review and resolve this however we can! When did that upgrade take place? And when did you have a technician out? Here's an excellent resource for Connection Troubleshooting Tips. Have you recently reviewed everything there? If not, let me know if you notice anything that can be adjusted on your end. Otherwise, we may need to take a closer look at your account, service, and equipment, which we're happy to do.
