Could you please provide more detail pertaining to your issue at hand? As long as the Xfinity xFi Gateway is not in 'Bridge Mode', connecting an Ethernet cable to the modem and device should be as simple as plugging in the cables.
If you have the Xfinity xFi Gateway, the WiFi network name and password should be within the Xfinity App. Just need to open the Xfinity App, select the WiFi button (bottom middle) -> Then select WiFi Details.
