CM2050V upload speed

Got a new cm2050v modem on gig plus service (rated 1200/200). The 10g service upgrade has been done in my area. Download is fine. Upload stuck at 42 mbps. Talked to support and they supposedly "reprovisioned" the modem to get the 200 upload speed up but no change. Little leery that it got done correctly since the tech didn't seem to be aware that the modem is on the approved list and frankly not confident they were looking at the right account (I've got 2). Not sure if I need to log into the modem and check stuff or what my next step to try is. Sort of disheartened given the other results I've seen here.

... cm2050v modem ... Upload stuck at 42 mbps. ...

The 2050V has been "temporarily" removed from the "approved for higher upload speed" list. See:

Also see the "All Compatible Devices" link near the bottom of https://www.xfinity.com/support/devices (at the moment it points to https://assets.xfinity.com/assets/dotcom/projects/cix-4997_compatible-devices/2023.11.22%20Full%20List%20of%20Compatible%20Devices.pdf).

@BruceW When I click on the link to the xfinity page the cm2050v is the FIRST modem listed. When I click on the other links, it's on the list and says "recommended". And I've read the thread where you copied that first blurb from. Would be nice if they would update their official sites with that information. Be nice to get even the 80-90 speeds he's seeing.

@BruceW saw your response on email but not here. You forgot to mention they also have not told their support staff anything about this so they're spinning their wheels on the phone and online.

@RedsonRising I understand that the link: https://mydeviceinfo.xfinity.com/ shows the modem you have as recommended but keep an eye on the link: https://assets.xfinity.com/assets/dotcom/projects/cix-4997_compatible-devices/2023.11.22%20Full%20List%20of%20Compatible%20Devices.pdf . This is where you would find the approved modems for Next Gen upload speeds. I would suggest getting a new modem from the approved list or leasing an Xfinity Gateway until the modem you currently have is added to the list. I want to let you know that there are great benefits to using our Xfinity modem https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/why-rent-wireless-gateway.

Yeah, looks like they deleted it. They're not always open to constructive criticism.
