CBR750 now not working with Xfinity

I have a Netgear CBR750 modem/router with one satellite.  It worked fine since I bought it in early June 2021.  Then Xfinity did an "upgrade" to its system in my area (Bellevue, WA) on November 7 2022.  Within a week the internet went out several times and I had to unplug/plug in the CBR750 to get it to work.  Eight days ago Xfinity had an outage in my area and when its system came back up the CBR750 no longer works.  Been on phone hours with Xfinity tech support to no avail.  Xfinity has been to the house twice to no avail.  They claim it's a CBR750 problem because signal to it is good and internet works using a Xfinity cable modem/router.  Other people have had this problem after Xfinity "upgrade" and Negear is aware of issue but they have not offered any solution yet.  The speed I subscribe to is well below the capacity of the CBR750.  Again, had no problems until Xfinity "upgraded" its system--I never asked for any upgrade to my subscription.  Hard to believe Xfinity didn't send some sort of signal that fried my CBR750.

I'm having the same issue, Xfinity upgraded my neighborhood late last year and doubled our download speed for free, but after that upgrade my Netgear CBR750 slows down to 1-2 Mbps about every 3 days until I reboot.  Once reboots the speed is restored and slows down to 1-2 Mbps again after about 3 days.  I tired rented the Xfinity modem and it works fine.  Netgear support replaced the Netgear CBR750 with the exacted model and it still have same issue.

Xfinity needs to work with Netgear for a new firmware to fix this issue.
