Can't search past google on WiFi

I've recently had issues with my WiFi where I can't search anything other than Google.  I can't open websites or apps on my phones or computer.  My son had issues on his switch with not being able to resolve the DNS so I manually entered it and it is now working. I got a new modem/router from comcast to see if that helped but it did not.

Hey there, thanks for reaching out through Xfinity Forums regarding your internet connection. We definitely want to get any connection issues you are having resolved. Are you only having issues through Wi-Fi? Also, are you getting any error messages and what browser are you having issues with?

Thanks for letting us know about the trouble you're having with multiple devices @user_f7a296. Since getting the new modem/router, have you attempted anything to troubleshoot the issue?

I no longer work for Comcast.

@XfinityJoshuaE worked with tech support for an hour.  They were going to send it to the back end people but I have heard no response.

We'd be glad to dig into things further within the systems to try and resolve this. I appreciate you letting us know about the troubleshooting steps that have been taken so far! Please send us a direct message, using the following instructions:

(Full credit to @BruceW for this excellent explanation and @Again for the picture!)

"Search for Xfinity Support" won't work. To send a "Direct Messaging" message to Xfinity Support:

 • Click "Sign In" if necessary

 • Click the "Direct Messaging" icon:

or https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging

 • Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

 • The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there

 •  - As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list

 •  - An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

 • Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

 • Press Enter to send it

Seems to be WiFi. I do not use my son's computer but he is able to play games on it still.  Just like the PS4.
