Cannot Receive Incoming calls After Connecting Magic Jack
I just purchased a Magic Jack and hooked it up. I was able to use the phone for outgoing calls minutes afterwards but have been unable to receive incoming calls. After doing some research, it appears to be a problem with the Xfinity WiFi. I've read several posts on here and there were a few that mentioned solutions. One of which was to setup two port forwarding ranges, which I did, but still have the same problem. Another mentioned a solution provided by an Xfinity Technicon, but no details of what that solution was. Very frustrating...I'm reaching out hoping that there is a viable solution for this problem.
A little extra information. When I try to make a call to the number, there is no ring or indication that there is an incoming call on the caller ID, but I hear a ring on the phone I'm calling from.
