Cannot open any ports with port forwarding

No matter what port I pick, I can open any ports with port forwarding. Ports that I have tried include 1026, 16000, and 65000.

I'm having he same issue. I've used the app like the page suggests, but when I check to see if the port is open, it's always not. I have tried 4988 and 4989.

You can learn how to set up a port forward using our handy 'Set up port forwarding using the Xfinity app' support page. Outside the steps we provide, port forwarding is considered an advance networking tool and outside our demarcation. 
 
When going through the steps to create a port forward, are assigning the correct device on your local network and does your device have settings for that specific port? Also, to take note, devices using exclusively an IPv6 address is not supported.
