Cable Wires disconnected from wall

I accidentally disconnected some unused wires involving a splitter sticking out of the wall. As a result, the wifi disconnected. I plugged in as best I could recall and now the wifi is up and running. How do I know if all the wires are now connected properly and not causing a safety issue?

Hey there, @user_395r9a, thanks for reaching out through Xfinity Forums regarding your cables. We want to ensure you are getting the best connection. We would recommend making sure everything is finger tight when connected. Are you still having issues with your services?

I was looking to have a tech stop by to help explain why a splitter is sticking out of our wall and if connected properly to the lines.

We can get a tech appointment scheduled to check on the wiring. There would be a fee for the appointment applied to your next monthly billing statement. I can get that scheduled for you. Please send us a Direct Message with your full name and your full address.

The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there
- As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list
- An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
