Cable modem: Netgear CM1150V vs. Arris T25?
Looking to purchase a fairly future-proof cable modem as these cable fees are as bad as airline fees were when people used to travel.
These two modems look to have very similar specs. Any advantage of using one over the other? Anyone use one that had issues and switch to the other?

Stay away from the T25 ! It has the troublesome Puma 6 chipset. There have been many negative posts here about it.

Thank you! I was leaning Netgear since I've been using a SO FAR rock-solid Netgear R7800/X4S router already.

I've used the CM1150V and I can vouch for its performance and stability.

I'm currently leasing the Xfinity XB7 gateway as it has built in support for Xfinity Home Security, and a 2.5 Gb ethernet port.
