Bridge Mode section is blank in the admin page of xfinity gateway

I am having an issue with my XB7 gateway that no enable/disable button shown in the Bridge Mode section.

I was on phone with xfinity support for one hour.  They did re-activated the XB7  gateway.

I have already switched "Admin tool online access" to "ON" in the xfinity app.  Still no enable/disable shown in the Bridge Mode section in the admin page (http://10.0.0.1)

I really want to hook my Orbi router back.

Please help!

jonnady Thank you so much for reaching out for help with your bridge mode on your XB7. Currently, there is a known issue with the XB7 and XB8 after a recent update, where the bridge mode settings are not available. Our teams are aware of the issue and are working to correct it as soon as possible. I would be happy to help keep you posted on the known issue if you would like.

Thanks for the information.  I would like to know if a hard/factory reset of the gateway is still a viable workaround to the issue?

There is currently not an official workaround for the issues, @jonnady. With that being said, I have seen this work for customers recently. There is no harm in doing so, but it would be great to know if it worked for you. If you decide to move forward with the factory reset, please let us know the results. 👍

I'm having the same problem with the XB8 modem. Bridge mode is blank in the admin page AND in the so-called "great" xfinity app (android) - neither 5GHz and 6GHz can be enabled. Your techs are incompetent

Hi @aSmithy341, I understand this is quite frustrating for you. Please keep in mind that in our Xfinity Forum Guidelines we state that we should all be good to each other. Our advanced teams still visit the forum, and they work very hard to keep things on track. Some customers have had success getting the bridge mode toggle to appear by performing a factory reset of the modem. Have you attempted to do so?

I have seen from the other threads that a fix has been pushed out.  Can any xfinity support folks confirm that?

As of today, the Bridge Mode section is still blank in the admin page (10.0.0.1) of my XB7 gateway

Closing the loop on this thread.  The xfinity support folks in this community was able to fix this remotely.  After that, I was able to enable bridge mode and connect my Orbi Mesh Router.
