Blocked Ports

PLEASE do not give yet another instruction on how to port forward.  I have forwarded many ports and am reasonably proficient.  However, of the many dozens of ports forwarded over the years, two of them are blocked by Comcast.  I need to know how to unblock ports 8883 and 53.  I have called technical support 17 times and have had two techs come to my house.  I have yet to encounter anyone who even knows what a port is.

Prior to COVID, this request was always solved with just one phone call and the port would be unlocked.  I have been promised to have "Advanced Technical Support" call me back, yet the only person who ever called me back merely read the script about how to create a port forward - and he didn't even understand himself, so I had to teach him how to do it.

Yes, I have adjusted the Advanced Security settings.  Yes, I have rebooted the gateway and the connected device.  Yes, I have checked the list of blocked ports.  Yes, I know how to check port access.  PLEASE do not respond with Network 101 scripts.  I just need someone at Comcast to click the button to unlock those two ports.  Can ANYONE help?

Unfortunately, you failed to read my original post.  As you can see, not only have I already tried this, but these ports are not listed on the published list of blocked ports.  This is literally step three on the script that the "customer service" reps tell you when you use the word "port" on a tech call.

Again, PLEASE do not read from the failed script. BTW, you appear to be highly qualified to work for Comcast.  You have the exact skill set they require.

@user_6c4f34  Well before I would call tech support 17 times and have two technicians come out at probably $100 a visit, a simple google search revealed what the problem probably is with port 53, plus a simple work around that maybe even you could possibly implement, I don’t know..
