Arris S33 - Second Etheret Port
Hey all,
I am looking to get the second Ethernet port activated on my Arris Surfboard S33 Modem. I have seen posts stating that it is possible, and I tried to reach out to support but wasn't able to get anywhere.
I've seen posts such as this one where it looks like maybe this needs to be forwarded to a higher level of support to continue.
Looks like @EG might be the best person to help out? I was going to try to direct message you, but didn't see a way to do that.
Thank you to whoever can get me pointed in the right direction!

Currently, you would have to have a business account to get a 2nd IP address; xfinity at one time used to allow if for residential users but has curtailed that. EG might be able to get you in touch with the right department at xfinity to ask for it. Please circle back and tell us if you were able to get one.

@UTLEbucE
They are indeed phasing it out but I'm going to escalate your issue to the Comcast corporate employees that are available to these boards. We've seen cases here where they have been able to get this accomplished for customers even when it is not listed in their rate cards, YMMV. You should get a reply here in your topic. Good luck
