Arris G54 Upload Speed

I recently bought the Arris G54 modem and it is connected to my xfinity internet but I am still capped at 40Mbps upload speed after xfinity provisioned it. I get 1400Mbps download speed but not the 200Mbps upload speed I should be getting. I have read other posts of people with the same modem getting the advertised 200Mbps upload speed. Why am I not getting the new upload speed? Do I just need the correct boot file saved to the modem? Any help would be appreciated.

@phoose02 It did get fixed!  I will try to help you with this.  I was lucky enough to talk to this user on the reddit forum https://www.reddit.com/user/CCMichaelK who is a moderator and employee of xfinity.  He said "It looks like your account might be missing a certain code that would force the new upload speed. I'm adding that code to the account now. This will not change any pricing, but you may receive an email about the change. You may also see your modem reboot if this corrects the speed on the modem as well."  That was sent to me last night and when I woke up my upload speed was pegging out at 240 Mbps! So, it was some setting in my account that needed to be changed before I got the new upload speed.  Hope this will help you get it fixed.

Any luck fixing this? I'm having the same issue, same modem - waiting for Comcast to call back, but if I can fix it myself, I'd rather do that.
