Multiple posts about it. I think general consensus is it's a Comcast Xi-series cable box connecting. It's probably not on your local network, but using one of the hidden WiFi connections exclusively for cable boxes. Another could be MoCA, which is a connection over the cable, designed to allow 'slave' boxes to use a master box as it's tuner and access to recordings. For that, there should be a MoCA filter on the line coming into your home.

That sounds NOT good.  I am not a “techie” per say and when I researched this message and the device it was confusing and to be honest so is the response.  Is there any way you can break it down for me?  I do not understand if it is some threat/fraud/scam - what do I need to do to or check?
Thank you!

Great question @user_ef8176! If it is indeed a Xi device connecting (TV box), then it's absolutely nothing to worry about. If you think that this isn't the case, then a simple password reset of your WiFi is a great step to take to get everything off the network that shouldn't be there. Please note that doing that will result in you having to reconnect all your devices to the network using the new password. Here are the steps for changing the WiFi name and password. Please let us know if you have any trouble with this, or if you have any additional questions.

I no longer work for Comcast.

Sounds like a plan, @user_ef8176. Just to clarify, was this able to help you with the issue or do you still need assistance with your network or did changing the password help?

I no longer work for Comcast.

There are multiple possible sources for that connection, depending on what services you subscribe to and exactly what devices you are using.

Can you please describe which services you get from Xfinity and exactly what devices (make and model#) you are using.

Thx
