Are these logs and noise worth having investigated?

I am not experiencing any service drops or any interruptions of my internet. I have noticed that my modem logs are being filled with these attached, they are daily and they occur very fast. Also the second I power cycle my modem, I get errors on my higher channels. My modem has been online for 3 days now. So I was wondering if this is worth having investigated.

Had a brief loss of service last night. It was a MDD Message timeout, it lasted long enough for my wifi connected devices to notice it. My phone swapped over to mobile data for 30 seconds.

Hello there, @strykerzr350! Thanks for reaching out to us here on the community forums! With the device logs, you will often see errors. This is normal. If you are actually experiencing a service problem and there is nothing listed on the app or Status Center : https://www.xfinity.com/support/status then it would be something to look into. In most cases, verifying that the coaxial cable is connected securely to the back of the modem/gateway and any splitters or wall plate and making sure there are no bends and breaks and resetting the modem/gateway is the first thing you should do. If the connection trouble continues, utilizing the tools outlined here would be the next step : https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/internet-connectivity-troubleshooting We can assist as well! So far so good right now, still getting event codes 16 and 24 along with RNG-RSP CCAP Commanded Power in Excess of 6 dB Below the Value Corresponding to the Top of the DRW logs. I will keep this thread marked open. As far as my cables are concerned I have everything tight, no loose connections, and one splitter provided by you all, there is a moca ground block as well. My drop is only a few years old and there is no breaks or sharp bends.

No crimp on connectors either, PPC connectors are used. The cable coming from my wall plate is the one that comes with self install kits with the black sleeve over the connector.

Just wanted to check in here, I did have one service interruption this morning but my logs didnt say anything about a MDD message timeout. More event codes 16 and 24, and more RNG-RSP CCAP Commanded Power in Excess of 6 dB Below the Value Corresponding to the Top of the DRW logs. MDD message timeouts are treated as a warning in the logs on my Netgear CM2000. On my old Arris SB6121 they are treated as critical.

However I feel the noise is coming from ingress at neighbors houses, there has been 5 customers who left you all and swapped providers. Then a house on the other side of me that has no service. I feel that them being not terminated is allowing ingress from other signals into the network. The noise is probably not getting attenuated in the drop before it gets to the taps.

We have had no line techs check each tap for noise in this neighborhood in years.
