Another "See 200mbps upload in account but actually still getting 40mbps in practice" post
Title says it all. Need to make my first post so I can DM the mods or whatever so we can sort this out. I originally was on gigabit pro with personal modem but swapped out my 8611 to a rental XB8. Account shows I should be getting 200mbps uploads but in reality I'm still at the 40mbps I had prior to the upgrade. Need help getting provisioned to the proper speeds. Please assist. Thx.

Just wanted anyone who read this to know after a rather slow back and forth between several customer service reps online, they were finally able to get my modem provisioned to the proper settings and now I'm seeing nice fast uploads. Thank you Xfinity team.

Just to show what I'm seeing on my end. Download is terrific, just the upload needs some work. I'm on the Gigabit Extra plan with Xfi complete. XB8 Modem. (And yes, I've restarted the modem a few times to see if that fixed it 8-). I only realized that the updated upload speeds are available in my area as my housemate moved into a new apartment near by and I helped her set up her new service and XB7 at her apartment. She was seeing 100Mbps uploads on her slower tier service, so I got to wondering if mind showed higher uploads as well. So my account does, but the service so far does not. I know it's possible as she has it and is just down the road from me.
