All-in-one computer and your modem

Hello,

First off, let me state that I know very very little about computers.  I am the primary for the modem hook up.  I have been looking at those all-in-one computers, and since it does not have a tower, will the modem still be able to be hooked up?

The all in one computers are just the guts of a laptop mounted to the back of a monitor, and you will have no issued connecting them to a network.

Hi @raptyrred! Thank you for joining us on the Xfinity Forums. That's correct, our modems will work with an all-in-one computer because they provide whole-home WiFi coverage! For more details on the best connection with a computer, I recommend checking out our Xfinity Internet Minimum System Requirements, It has detailed information about which devices and operating systems are needed for a great connection!

Hi @raptyrred! We have some awesome self-service options to make sure you have a great connection, or we can send out an expert to assist. I'd be happy to help with making sure we point you in the right direction for the best option. Do you already have an account with us, or would you be starting new services?

I understand, and thanks for allowing us to help! Since you already have an account and an existing modem in your home, you should be able to easily connect it to your new computer to the established wifi network.

I no longer work for Comcast.
