Admin tool password question

@EG     Sometimes I like to poke around and look at my settings in the admin tool. but in order to login to admin tool the system requires you to create a password.  However for some reason Comcast technician told me not to do it. Without doing it thou there is no way to access admin tool. So do you think its OK to change admin tool password to something unique and will doing so harm anything?

Of course ! It's not only "OK", it's preferable! I can't see why you were told not to.........

Yeah I don't know. Technician told the admin tool should only be accessed by Comcast technicians and I should not go there.
