Hello, I did my speed check recently I have Fast plan internet so my download speed is correct however my upload speed is only 11mbps and according to my plan it should be a 100. In my Xfinity app I tried enabling advanced security (not security for home but for my network) but it doesn't seem to work. I don't particulary want that feature but I was just trying to see what it does, however it doesn't work meaning it won't change status from off to on. Anyone can shine some l

This is probably another Xfinity app hick up. Like I said I don't really want advanced security but its funny how the reps here pretend they never heard about the issue, I'm sure its a known issue that Comcast is not willing to admit just like many

@EG Hello, I recently took a look at the list of my devices in the Xfinity app. My Amazon fire stick is labeled as "streaming media box" and the device type says "streaming box" I remember that in the past it actually used to say Amazon fire TV stick, but now it just says streaming box, should I cha

@EG If you are streaming a lot of content on firestick and also have a computer and tablet connected to your gateway what should be the ideal internet speed? I remember sometime ago either you or someone else posted a link here where it tells you what speed you need given the amount of devices conne

But 400mbps download and 10mbps upload is more then enough to stream in HD and just have very fast internet in general right?

@EG​   My plan has 400mpbs download and 10mbps upload, why do you think the upload is so low compared to download?
