Admin Panel Locked-Only solution that works!

After 3 customer service calls, 1 store visit, 1 technician appt, and 2 equipment swaps, I was able to finally improve my internet connection after Xfinity's "infinite" wisdom decision of disabling the admin panel. Please note that both the tech that had to come to my house and all the tech support (overseas and domestic) CANNOT change these basic settings: Channel and Bandwidth.

So I decided to try my luck with Google and found this post:

It took 2 factory resets to work since Xfinity is quick to lock down the settings as soon as it recognizes the device to your account. The only change I would make to the instructions referenced above is to use an Ethernet connection and keep refreshing 10.0.0.1 until you are met with the setup screen. And VERY QUICKLY go in and change the settings using a TEMPORARY WiFi network. After I made the changes, I went to their very basic and limited app to change the name and password to my old settings so my devices would reconnect. Hopefully this helps someone after I had to waste my time with their support. Even their customer care team "tried" to help me afterwards, but no one seems to know what they are doing, or is not allowed to help anymore. Maybe they will go the way of cashiers and get replaced by bots.
