Additional IP Addresses

Hi,

I'm considering buying Netgear CM1200 or ARRIS SB8200 cable modems which support 4 or 2 Ethernet ports, respectively. Can Xfinity provide me additional IP addresses ? I searched the forum and there is no clear answer. So, kindly let me know the feasibility of additional IP addresses as this information is a key factor for my decision of which cable modem to buy.

Thanks

They are phasing it out but I'm going to escalate your issue to the Comcast corporate employees that are available to these boards. We've seen cases here where they have been able to get this accomplished for customers even when it is not listed in their rate cards, YMMV. You should get a reply here in your topic. Good luck !

@EG

Hello

I'm trying to setup two IP addresses as well.  Comcast customer service over the phone is kind of frustrating.  Any help would really be appreciated

Hello @elsherif, thanks for reaching out to us on our Forums page. We appreciate you being a customer with us and for your interest in wanting a 2nd IP address. @EG  is correct and we would need to check to see if the option to add a 2nd IP address is available in your area. We can absolutely assist you with this! Can you please send me a Private Message including your first and last name as it appears on the account?
