Active/online Static IP and Reserved IP devices show up as Offline in xfinity app and XB8 gateway UI

I have a number of active devices on my home network that almost always show up as Offline in both the xfinity XB8 web UI as well as the xfinity app.  I had initially set these devices up with static IPs outside the DHCP scope of the XB8 (e.g. 10.0.0.200+).  While the devices functioned fine like this, they almost always showed up in the management app/web UI as Offline so I tried switching them to use reserved IPs instead (10.0.0.195 - 10.0.0.199) but it did not help - the devices continued to nearly always show up as being offline.  They will, very occasionally, show up as Online but only for a few minutes before they go back to showing up as Offline.  These devices are active 100% of the time, so they should never be Offline.

Is this is a known issue?

@XfinityOrlandoM:  Thanks for the reply, but neither of those remedies had any effect.  Note that this issue seems to impact both xfinity app AND the xfinity XB8 gateway's management web UI (via the Connected Devices page at http://10.0.0.1).

These devices are active/online 100% of the time so it seems odd that they would ever show up as Offline Devices.  If I select one of the devices in the Connected Devices page in the web UI, it knows what IP the device should have - and I can confirm that the devices work as I can ping the devices via that IP address, and can also navigate to the web UI on the device that is listed as Offline (e.g. http://10.0.0.196).  Every so often, one or more of the devices *will* show as Online, but only for a short while (minutes) before it goes back to showing as Offline.

I've tried continuously pinging the device (ping -t 10.0.0.196) for days on end, but it still shows up as Offline most of the time in the xfinity app & web ui.  Each of the devices transition from Offline <-> Online independently - it's not as if they all show as Offline, then all show as Online later on.  When I checked the xfinity app just now, 1 of the 5 reserved IP devices is Online, the rest are Offline - and the offline devices are reporting that they've been Offline for between 39 minutes and 20 hours.  And, in the time it's taken me to write this reply, the one device that was showing up as Online is now showing as Offline again.

I don't think it should make any difference, but all of these devices are wired devices, not WiFi.  If I can provide any additional details to help diagnose this, please let me know.

I have the same issue. Many of my "smart" home WiFi devices are constantly offline. (Currently 29) Not only do they go offline, but they no longer work at all so the device has lost all communication back to the router. this does not make for a very "smart" device. it only started when Xfinity sent me the "new" XB8 router several weeks ago. the previous model never had an issue. Remedies include rebooting the router. when i do, they all devices show up again (Hubitat confirmed) and regain their functionality. Wshat can be done to remedy this? I was thinking of using a "smart" plug, plug the dumb router into it and reboot it every night so the devices work when my wife gets up. But I guess that is a 50/50 at best. HaHa
