Account deletion to get rid of unexpected bill

I am writing to formally request the permanent closure of my internet service account [Edited: "Personal Information"], associated with this email. My service was transferred from my old address in NJ to my new address in Texas. However, I continue to receive billing for the old connection, despite multiple discussions with customer agents.

Since the previous address no longer exists, I kindly ask that my account be closed immediately to prevent any further unexpected charges. Please confirm once the closure has been processed.

We want to ensure the account was disconnected correctly, and you are being billed correctly. Can you please send us a Direct Message with your full name and your full address? 

 

To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:
Click "Sign In" if necessary
Click the "Direct Messaging" icon or  https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging
Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there
- As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list
- An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
Press Enter to send it.
