how in the name of the good lord, is my laptop connected to the gateway which is on the other side of the house, giving me slow speeds.


when there is an xfi pod right underneath it?


and how can i make it connect accordingly?

Hello @alonbc and thank you for your post. Here is a great link that has some great answers about our awesome xFi Pods: https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/xfi-pods-faqs
In that article it states:
USING YOUR XFI PODS
Do I need to manually connect my devices to each Pod for WiFi access?
No. Once devices join your home WiFi network, they will automatically connect to the best WiFi access point, whether that is your gateway or Pods. You can easily see if a device is connected to your gateway or Pod by opening the Xfinity app, navigating to WiFi and scrolling down to the Devices section, then select the device. The connection type is listed under the Device Details section.
