2.4Ghz camera not connecting
I have several 2.4 GHz connections that work fine - even this camera worked at one point. I disconnected it because we weren't using it regularly, only to monitor the dogs when nobody's home. We took it to Florida in July and it connected to the Wi-Fi there without an issue. I went to reconnect at home and it can't connect. Because it says I need a 2.4Ghz connection. I don't want to change or split the bands because there are several other things that are already connected, including the ring cameras, lighting, et cetera, how can I connect this one camera that refuses to just now see the 2.4 band?

@isherwoodme Thank you for taking the time to reach out to us here on our Xfintiy Forums. We'd love to see how we can help, typically if it is a third party camera that is requiring a 2.4 Ghz connection you may have to split the bands in order to connect it. Have you already tried reaching out to the original manufacturer for troubleshooting? Our ability to troubleshoot is limited when it comes to third party equipment.

The newest Comcast gateways use WPA3 security by default. Yue may need to change detting to WPA2 in order to use 2.4 GHz .
