2.4 not working on router
i have a sengled hub that requires 2.4 i have reset router and device it cant find the router and it right next to it. i even added the mac address to the router and it cant connect it shows 2.4 is working on router. i have had this hub for couple of years and never had problem getting it to reconnect until tonight.
I found something about disabling the 5ghz on router still says it cant find 2.4 after rebooting both device and router.

Hello and thanks for reaching out, @Laurie. It sounds like you may have the 2.4gbhz and 5ghz as the same name. When you have this set up, it switch's between the two depending which is going to provide the better signal at the time. Since this is the case, any device that only uses 2.4ghz will not be able to connect to the signal. If this is the case for you, you will want to name both the 2.4ghz and 5ghz with different names. Also, if you have xFi pods you will not be able to split the signal. You can use our Xfinity xFi app to split the signals if you need to.
