24 hours without service (XB7)

After a large storm yesterday we were left without power and internet from the early morning to late afternoon. We initially received a text stating the xfinity service would resume within a few hours (5:30-ish) and by the time I went to bed (around 11PM) we STILL had no service. 

Today for the past hour (it's 4:20 PM) I've been trying everything to fix these issues (apart from a hard reset) and yes I've tried waiting more than 10 minutes after unplugging it and another 10 after plugging it back in. 

Xfinitys AI assistants suggestions weren't very helpful either. I'm still stuck with an orange flashing light. at no point has this status light changed apart from the initial purple light after plugging the router back in.

First. Check their site here for official info on any possible local outages;

Use a cell phone internet service, a public WiFi hotspot, or a neighbor's internet if you need to in order to check it.
