1000/1000 Xfinity XB10 bridge mode - Speedtest 1050 down / 40 up
I have the 1Gig symetrical plan with XB10 gateway (bridge mode) and my own router and switch for my LAN. I onlny get ~40Mbps up. Sometimes it goes to ~600 MBps then drops down below 50 with no change by me. I went to Xfinity store to swap my gateway with no change. I asked tech support to send my gateway the backend rate codes/SOC codes and force-push the correct Next-Gen configuration file. Nothing changed.

Xfinity backed support chat person said a technicain will physically have to come to my house to fix issue.

A support technician came to my house to evaluate my cable in the house and he agreed there was an issue. He took a measurement outside the premise (Xfinity owned) and noticed a problem there as well. He put in a ticket to Xfinity crew and left. Within couple of hours, a truck crew came to grren cable box on the street and was fixing something. After 30 min, my speeds are 1190 down/ 440 up. My plan is symmetrical 1000. I'm not sure if I should complain that I'm not getting 1000 upload.
Apparently the issue was not related to my RG6 cable in my house nor the XB10 gateway.
Hope this helps others out.
