Xfinity Stream won’t let me sign in on LG TV

I am trying to sign in on the Xfinity stream app. I was able to successfully download it to my TV and when I click on it, it brings me into a sign in screen. When I click the little icon, nothing happens. It won’t get past this screen. Any suggestions on what to do or how to make the app work?

Yes the problem is still there.  I could not log on the last 2 days.   I finally was able to log on but now the screen freezes and it locked up.

The Xfinity Stream app is available on the following LG Smart TVs:

  • 2023 TVs.
  • 2022 TVs.
  • 2021 TVs.
  • 2020 TVs, including support for models with the new software version WebOSTV 5.0.
  • 2019 TVs.
  • 2018 TVs.

I have the same issue on an LG G3(2023) running the latest version of webOS.

If Xfinity Stream can’t run on a top of line LG smart TV from 2023, you guys should seriously just quit trying to stream.

I deleted the app and reinstalled and exactly same issue occurred.

user_0kkllm My team can help you with your app concerns on our since deleting/reinstalling the app didn't work. To send a direct message, please click on the chat icon in the top-right corner of the screen, and select "Xfinity Support" to initiate a Direct Message. 
Click "Sign In" if necessary
Click the "direct messaging" icon or https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging
Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list which appears. The "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
Press Enter to send it
