XFinity Stream Quality 480p

Even on HQ setting Xfinity Stream is at 480p on a Windows 10 laptop with adequate processing power and 330 Mbps on wifi. I'm not guessing here. I have an app which confirms 480p and that's why the picture always seems to lack sharpness. Is there a reason you are unable to provide even a 720p signal on a browser (chrome) or is this a choice by XFinity?

Thank you for reaching out. Depending on your data plans the Xfinity Streaming image resolution can be affected. @Jimdish07

Data plans?

May data plan is 330 mbps from your modem/router to my usb wifi-6 adapter.

That was in the OP.

Jimdish07, From what I could find, to provide a 720p signal on a browser like Chrome for Xfinity Stream, you may need to ensure that Flash is enabled on your browser.

Hey there, KevTheDankest, thanks for reaching out through Xfinity Forums regarding your issues on your PC while watching sports. I watch a lot of sports myself and I know how important it is to have high definition, so you do not miss any of the big plays! Who is your favorite team? You have reached the right place to troubleshoot! Are you only having issues on your PC? Is the device hardwired?
