Xfinity stream not working on any Samsung TV

Xfinity stream has stopped working on all of my Samsung TVs I have tried everything uninstalling reinstalling setting the TVs back to factory updating the TVs firmware resetting my home router all these combinations and none of them have worked how do I get xfinity stream to work

I have tried everything in this post and the app will still not steam.

the app loads and I can select a show from the guide but I get “Error: TVAPP -00148” 

this is on a Samsung TV - the app works on other Samsung TVs in my home 

Is there a fix ?

Having the same issue as everyone else and Tech Support can't help me either. I'm so frustrated this sucks!

It’s infuriating. Then during the lions game even the streaming went out. Live TV doesn’t work and could not stream. I’ve contacted Support so many times. They need to fix this for the Love!

HOping I'm not jinxing myself, but haven't had this issue recur since I reported it.    I bought this Samsung TV about a 2 months ago.    WHen it was at it's worst, I used my firestick to stream.    Of course, what's the point of owning a smart TV if you have to use a firestick?

I’m along with the rest of you Samsung TV bought in 2021, streaming fine and almost a week ago stopped streaming error TVAPP-00148

Like everyone else it’s frustrating and xfinity has no answers to when it will be resolved 

Software problem between Samsung and Xfinity and the customer looses

Get all billing credits for the downtime. You may have to call everyday.

I am having the SAME issue on my Samsung QLED 2022 TV.  I was on the phone with tech support - got the same runaround (it's a Samsung issue, not Comcast).  I got it to work on the Firestick ONLY after disconnecting my VPN, as the app told me I wasn't connected to my home WIFI.  WTH??  So I can't use the streaming app on my TV, nor can I run a VPN and use the app??  The whole purpose is to not have to change inputs; that's why I got rid of the Flex Box and wanted the app.  App works fine on other Samsung TVs, HP Lptop and Samsung phone.  Needs to be fixed ASAP

What I will say in the meantime is. Because the record option works. Record what you want then start watching the show you want. If you can't watch live tv. Just record and then start watching the show/sports whatever 5 seconds in. That's what we have been doing in the meantime

I have had xfinty stream for almost a year on two samsung 2023 tvs

live stream stopped working.  All other spps work. I’ve uninstalled, reinstalled, rebooted etc etc EVERYTHING!!  Same as so many who have posted.  I’ve been on the phone with xfinity 5 days, samsung once.  All fingers point to xfinity issues.  But what is the FIX?

Xfinity !!!!!You have to get this fixed!!!!!!   the app works on all devices except my Samsung TV which is less than a year old. same as many people on here, whatever needs to change, change it !!!      Need help in correcting this or will be looking for credit in my service or cancellation with no penalty

Absolutely agree! I have contacted Support at least five times in the last week. They said they have credited my account $60 multiple times and we have not seen it. They told me it was resolved and it’s not. Now they tell me the 24th and I don’t believe it. Everybody that can’t get live TV because of this should be getting credit every single day, no questions asked. If they can’t figure this out, they should send everybody brand new TVs of equal size and value that actually work. This is not our problem. There’s been thousands of people complaining and they have had ample time to figure this out. this is now a  borderline legal issue.
