Xfinity Stream app not working for anyone?

I've had problems streaming Live TV or downloading recordings since the evening of 9/5/23.

The errors are TVAPP-251 when trying to stream Live TV (ESPN HD) or download - "Could not create download :: 57006."

Contacted support, said the problem was fixed by them sending signals.

Problem was not fixed.

Went back to chat agent and they claim it's down, not working for anyone.

So the first agent said they fixed my account, the second agent is now saying it's a systemic problem.

Would expect a lot more complaints here if the thing has been down for over 24 hours.

I’m experiencing the three dots issue with the app…My program never loads. I’ve exited out of the app, logged out of the app and logged back in, restarted my phone, uninstalled and reinstalled the app. Still no luck. What are the next steps?

I can’t get anything to play on my iPhone on Xfinity stream. Just 3 dots appearing on screen. Can’t get any live TV, can’t watch my recordings and can’t watch On Demand. Can watch other apps like Peacock, Tubi ect. When you go to Xfinity Stream and pick a program to watch, it has small picture of the program. None of them are loading. Pay a lot for Xfinity and I see this has been a problem for a while. Please fix or give me a refund!!

@Pbank Thank you for reaching out via our Xfinity Forums. Are you getting any sort of error message or code? Also, have you had a chance to uninstall and reinstall the app on your phone? If not, please give that a try. This tends to fix many issues.

I’ve been having Xfinity Stream app problems for 3 months.  One Tech said it was probably my modem.  Went through 2 new $500 WiFi modems and still have issues.  Contractor came to my house today and replaced wiring outside and added a new box to the side of my house, but still wasn’t working when he left. Have been taking pictures of the error codes all week and am getting codes:  00249, 00281, 00287, and 00148 all multiple times along with trying to reconnect messages (and others).  Contractor said it was the app…SO WHEN WILL ALL THESE ISSUES BE RESOLVED?  I’m about a week away from finding another provider.

Also just getting three dot loading screen. It stays like that for infinity. No error codes, just not connecting. [Edited: "Language"]

Started having trouble with xfinty streaming today 11/1. After spending hours trying to fix, and working with a virtual assistant, I was told that they are updating the system and it will be working in one hour.  Has anyone had this experience recently?

Over 3 months for me.  Hours upon hours on the phone with customer service and 50-plus DM’s with support, 2 wasted weekends waiting on Technicians to show up at the house, for them to finally tell me it’s a known issue, they are working on it, but can’t provide a timeline to resolve.

I have picture but no sound when streaming any saved programs on my MacBook Pro. I do have sound and picture when streaming live, and streaming on my iPhone works normally via Xfinity app. Same wifi network, same distance to same router.

I have updated my Mac, cleared all cookies, deleted Xfinity re copied and re signed in. No change: picture & sound watching live, no sound on saved programs even ones that worked normally in the past. The sound will start than go silent after about 5 seconds.
