Xfinity stream app not available on Samsung TV

hi, i just got a new Samsung TV for Christmas and my set top box is old, and I would like to use the stream app instead. I can't for the life of me get the app to load - its not findable in the app area. I've tried "Xfinity stream" "Xfinity stream app" "Xfinity" "Comcast" you get the point.

i've chatted with Xfinity and Samsung and have no resolution.

Xfinity knowledgebase says:

The Xfinity Stream Beta app is available on the following Samsung device models: 2017 TVs with minimum firmware version T-KTMAKUC-1210.8 and Model Codes Q9F, Q8C, Q7F (Flat), Q7C (Curved), MU9000, MU8500, MU8000, MU7600, MU7500, MU750, MU7100, MU700, MU7000, MU6500, MU6490, MU6300, MU630, and MU6290 2017 TVs with minimum firmware version T-KTSAKUC-1210.8 and Model Codes M5300, M530, M4500, and M450

My device is model code M4500 running version T-KTSAKUC-2085.2 so theoretically should be compatible.

Help!

Hello @user_ccec30, thank you for being a part of the Comcast family and for taking the time to reach out to us. That is very cool you got a new Samsung TV for Christmas, all I got was a lump of coal. I understand your Cable box is old and would like to use our awesome Xfinity Streaming App. I absolutely love using my streaming app when I can. As for your Samsung TV is our Xfinity app not available or locatable on your TV as selective apps to use?

@XfinityBilly - My current firmware is T-KTSAKUC-2085.2.  I can't imagine the TV (UN32M4500BFXZA) that I just purchased is older than 2017.  The Stream app does not appear

@DreamSayerZ - I did not create an account on the TV.  I used and existing Samsung login like I have on my other 2 Samsung TV's that both have the Stream App.

Thanks for any insight!

@user_eb4479 If the stream app does not appear, unfortunately you are out of luck. That model is very basic @ HD 720p. I don't see Xfinity supporting that low end of a TV. You'll need to get a Roku or Firestick.

There is a new version of the Stream Beta available now.  It shows up on the M4500 as well.
