Xfinity Rewards Free Movie Not Appearing on Rewards Page

I've noticed that the Xfinity Free Movie that comes out on Thursdays doesn't appear as an option for me, despite checking throughout the day on Thursday and being at the Diamond Level.  For the past few weeks, I have seen it offered starting around 12 pm EST. I checked soon after, but it doesn't appear as an option, even though others have said they have already claimed it.  It appears to be an issue for others as well. Can this be investigated?

Thanks for flagging this. We can understand why that would be frustrating, especially if you are Diamond level and are checking during the same window when others are already seeing and claiming the free movie reward.

 

Xfinity Rewards offers can sometimes vary by account, availability, timing, or while supplies last, but if you have not seen the Thursday free movie option for multiple weeks, we definitely want to take a closer look. We can review your Rewards eligibility and check whether the offer is showing correctly on your account.

"ModMail" is the private message facility used on the Reddit web site. Here in the Xfinity Forums, the equivalent is Direct Messaging. Once again, an employee has posted incorrect instructions.

To send the requested information in a private Direct Message ("DM") to Xfinity Support from any forums.xfinity.com page:

  • Click "Sign In" if that prompt is visible  

  • Click the "Direct Messaging" icon above 

  • On the DM page click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon  

  • The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person" but don't do that. It won't work.

      Instead, type Xfinity Support there. As you are typing a drop-down list appears.

  • Select "Xfinity Support" from the list. An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line.

  • Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

  • Press Enter or tap the > icon to send it

Regrettably the "pencil and paper" icon is a pale grey that is active even though it does not look active. Go ahead and select it.

If a red circle-slash appears when you try to select the icon it means that DMs are disabled in your user Profile. To enable them again go to your Profile Settings, clear the "Opt Out from Direct Messaging" checkbox, click Save, and try again.
