Xfinity app not working on Samsung tv

Xfinity streaming app has stopped working on my Samsung TV (2020 model).  Tried all fixes...does anyone have a workable solution available.  This the error message I get: Error Code:  TVAPP-00148

Xfinity stopped working for me, too. I tried to add the app to my tv home and it is no longer available.

I can still download the Xfinity Stream app after I delete it.  Had an Xfinity technician here today but he couldn't resolve the issue.  Told me to call Samsung and see if they're getting similar complaints.  I did and Samsung is researching the issue so will see what they come back with.

Greetings, @user_b00s7t! Thanks for reaching out about the Xfinity Stream app. We are happy to help and get to the bottom of this! Can you tell me what year of Samsung TV you have? Before you tried to add the app back to your TV would it not load or would you get an error when you tried to watch?

After a week and a half of talking with Xfinity technicians (both over the phone and in person) I finally spoke to one who suggested I go and get an Roku Streaming Stick and watch the Xfinity Streaming App through that.  So I did that and its been working great (knock wood).  Of course, I have another remote to deal with but at least I can use the Xfinity App.  I'm convinced that Xfinity tweaked the App in some way although they won't admit anything was done to it.  It just doesn't make any sense that the App just stopped working after working fine for years and the only problem I had was with that one App and no others.

Lost the use of the streaming app two days ago on all my Apple TV 4K devices, iPads, and one LG TV. I have tried various things on my end without success. I have even tried streaming on the Xfinity site through a browser and it's telling me that the device is offline when I clearly have internet connection. So far, reps haven't been able to help. Issue is being escalated.

Update:  A tech showed up and after about two hours of head scratching and trying to figure out why I was getting internet but no TV service through the stream app, he decided to disconnect my Netgear CM600 modem and connect a new Xfinity modem. Finally, I had TV service again on all my devices. Go to find out through a rep on Reddit that was following up with me, he told me my modem was end of life. I went to Xfinity website to look at compatible modems and no longer see my modem. I had no idea this was about to happen, but had been waiting for the day that it finally failed me and I wasn't able to get internet or anything. For the next week, I will have to rent the Xfinity modem until my Arris S33 gets here.
