Xfinity app displays CC on every start no matter if CC in settings are off on LG tv
CC shows on my LG tv every time I turn it on, no other apps does this. I read this is a known issue and a fix is on the way?

I have the same problem. Extremely annoying. I'M waiting patiently for a fix BUT feel my service is inferior to other streaming apps:(

The Xfinity streaming app did an update on Jan 10th which eliminated the option for turning on/off CC in the 'settings' 'accessibility' preferences requiring a manual shut off EVERY. BLEEPING. TIME!
