Why do I need to sign into my Xfinity Stream app using Apple TV?

I’m using the Xfinity Stream app on my Apple TV and we are asked to sign into the Xfinity app everyday using the QR code on the screen.  It’s highly frustrating for those not super tech savvy to consistently have to do this when every other app auto-signs in once you’ve entered your credentials.  Can someone help with a solution to avoid daily sign-ins to the Xfinity Streaming app?  Also happening on Amazon FireTV.  THanks!
