Unable to activate the Peacock subsccription

I have been trying for at least five days to activate the "complimentary" Peacock subscription. I have read all of the forums, cleared my cache and even 

tried subscribing to other streaming services offered by Xfinity. The link to actually activate the streaming platforms does not populate; however, I'm continuously being cycled to the page to manage the apps or add a bundle streaming deal. There is an information banner at the top of the streaming notifying me to activate my subscription. When I click the link to activate the subscription I'm cycled through the same page again.
