unable to access local channels via App

hello. I am unable to get my local channels on the Roku app. I can get the TVGo channels, but not local. I am connected to my xfinity wifi and this works sometimes, but is very inconsistent. BTW -your "assistant" is totally worthless and I am questioning why I am using your service.....
