tvgo

For the last week or so when watching tv go channels everytime a commercial comes on and ends then have to reload channel due to pixeling so bad channel is not watchable. Is this a new improvement we should thank you for. Typical comcast qwuality.

All,

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience you are experiencing when attempting to use Xfinity Stream. We are currently investigating a possible bug in Chrome 78 that may be causing this. In the meantime, we recommend trying one of the following workarounds by either:

1. Disable hardware acceleration in Chrome. Settings > Advanced > Use hardware acceleration when available > OFF > restart Chrome.

2. Play the TV GO version of the On Demand item. From the More menu button (… icon), choose Watch Options > choose the TV GO option (usually at the bottom of the list).

Thank you in advance for your patience as we continue to work to resolve this permanently.

Additionally, we recommend that you check to ensure your devices and web browser meets our minimum system requirements needed to use the Xfinity Stream website, found here: https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/xfinity-tv-website-requirements

Please note, not all web browsers/devices support the Xfinity Stream website.

ANYONE know why the tvgo option is so much shorter than streaming "regular" version?! Ty in advance for any answer. Wanna make sure I'm not missing something if I choose tvgo. Some shows have 60mins cut off the total time. Can there be that many commercials cut out? Or are the commercials not added into the tvgo total time maybe? Ty again.

those are internet on-demand version and the length is reported 'before' commecials are added during the stream. at the end of the 'time' shown the progress bar will be at the end but the program will still play to the end.
