TVAPP-00231

I am I using the xfinity stream app via Roku and keep getting error code TVAPP-00231. I tried unplugging my tv and Roku for 60 seconds, my router for 60 seconds and deleted and reinstalled the app. This did not fix the issue. What else can I do?

user_5cjycl That specific error (TVAPP-00231) is most often tied to a sign-in/session issue or how the app is communicating with your account on the device. In addition to what you’ve tried, here are a few things that tend to resolve it:
• Go into the Xfinity Stream app settings on your Roku and sign out, then sign back in
• If possible, remove the device from your account and reauthorize it (this refreshes the connection on our side)
• Make sure your Roku is fully updated (Settings > System > System update)
• Try launching the app while connected to your home WiFi only
