Tvapp-00125

Getting error code tvapp-00125 when casting some (not all) dvr recordings to google tv chromecast. What is it and how to fix it?

 These types of errors are normally fixed by exiting the app and trying again.

Thanks - but have already tried that multiple times - doesn't solve the issue. It will cast some recordings but not all and on recordings it won't cast, it gives error TVAPP-00125.

Hey there, user_iff6rt, thanks for reaching out through Xfinity regarding your TV issues. I know my household loves to watch TV on the weekends together. I completely understand wanting to ensure that your DVR recordings are working properly. Are you having issues with specific channels or specific shows or is it random?

It seems random. Some shows cast, some shows don't.

Click "Sign In" if necessary
Click the "direct messaging" icon or https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging
Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list which appears. The "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
Press Enter to send it
